No pattern? Inconceivable!

I’m making a baby hat. I’ve made enough of these in the past year or so that I get the general idea, you know? So I’ve given myself a new challenge.

I’m making the pattern up out of my head as I go.

Now, I know it’s just a wee hat, it’s not like I’m freestyling an adult-sized sweater… But it’s still kind of liberating to just pick up and knit. I’m having a great time with it and I hope the hat turns out as cute as I think it will.
